Goals of the project
- Enabling students and graduates to gain professional experience that will help them find an attractive job.
- Promoting summer internships among employers as an excellent way to recruit qualified employees.
Assumptions

Employers offer at least 1 summer internship taking at least 1 month in the period June-September 2025.

All internships as part of the project "Praktykuj w Łodzi – staże wakacyjne" [Internship in Lodz – summer internships are PAID. The employer undertakes to sign a civil law contract with the intern and pay a minimum salary of PLN 30.50 gross/1 hour or PLN 4,666 gross for each month of the internship on a full-time basis.

Employers must submit a declaration of participation in the project by 24 February 2025 and then add summer internship offers to their profile on the website www.praktyki.lodz.pl by 10 March 2025 (in accordance with the instructions sent after the company joins the project).

All offers will be published on the Internship and Traineeship Portal www.praktyki.lodz.pl during the recruitment period from 17 March to 14 April 2025.

Candidates, after accepting the PROJECT REGULATIONS (in Polish), send a maximum of 10 applications within the edition for internship offers they are interested in. The submitted applications are visible in the employer's profile.

Employers may set an earlier deadline for closing recruitment and selecting interns.

The Organiser – the City of Lodz Office will conduct an information and promotional campaign regarding the project, internship sponsors and submitted offers.
CANDIDATE SELECTION – 2 PATHS TO CHOOSE FROM
- The initial selection is conducted by the Organiser. At the first stage the candidates' applications are verified and evaluated by the employees of the City of Lodz Office for compliance with the employers' requirements included in the internship offer. Next, the employer receives access to all the evaluated applications, and then they make further selections, invite selected candidates for interviews and select interns.
- The employer receives access to all applications received for a given offer in their profile on the website www.praktyki.lodz.pl and verifies, selects and chooses interns on their own.
