The University of Lodz will hold a registration campaign for potential bone marrow donors for people with blood cancer on 8-15 April of the current year. The campaign is organised as part of the "Helpers Generation" project of the DKMS Foundation by students of the University of Lodz and over 65 other universities in Poland.

During the campaign, all healthy people aged 18 to 55 can register for free in the database of potential stem cell and bone marrow donors. The registration procedure takes only a moment – it consists of conducting an initial medical interview, filling in a form with personal data and taking a swab from the mucous membrane on the inside of the cheek.

Donor registration will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the following locations at the University of Lodz:

  • Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science – 8 April2025
  • Faculty of Philology – 9 April 2025
  • Faculty of Law and Administration – 10 April 2025
  • Faculty of Economics and Sociology –11 April 2025
