The Erasmus programme was established in 1987 as a student exchange programme. Its idea is to develop international cooperation between universities. The programme supports international cooperation of higher education institutions, allows students to go abroad for partial studies and internships, promotes mobility of university staff, and enables participation in numerous projects with foreign partners.
Erasmus + is a new framework program (as of 01.01.2014) for youth education and training and for sports. Erasmus+ brings together all existing EU programs for education, training, youth and sports, including the Lifelong Learning Program (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig), Youth in Action and five international cooperation programmes (including Erasmus Mundus, Tempus).
Electronic enrolment in USOSweb (Student Mobility tab) for student mobility for studies under the ERASMUS+ Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year will start on 27.01.2025 at 13:00 pm and will last until 03.03.2025 at 13:00 pm.
In addition to the electronic application to the Faculty Dean's Representative for International Student Exchange (anna.lazinska@wmii.uni.lodz.pl), a copy of the written certification of the required foreign language at the appropriate level (certificate or document from a language school) - a document required by the Faculty Erasmus Recruitment Committee - must be delivered/submitted by 03.03.2025 (by 13:00 pm). Language requirements are written in the offer notes.
Students of the 3rd year at BA level and the 2nd year at MA level must also provide a commitment to continue their studies at our faculty at the next level of studies. The trip will be possible in the summer semester.
The basic evaluation criteria for applicants: the grade point average (not lower than 3.7), the knowledge of relevant foreign language and high student motivation.
Recruitment results will be announced in March 2025 (in USOSweb and via email to those interested).
Before choosing a university, the student should on her/his own find courses at the partner university suitable for her/his study programme.

Enrolment for Erasmus+ traineeship for the academic year 2024/2025 will last until the funds allocated to the University of Lodz are exhausted.
